Good Days at School

Recently, Emma received a special award at school -- the "Do the Right Thing Award". She was recognized for being a "super student, having a great attitude, great grades, great behavior, and for always being on track." Great job, Emma! Keep up the good work.

Elli got something special, too... She was picked to be the flower girl in Homecoming. The senior girls pick one girl and one boy out of the kindergarten class to be in the Homecoming Court. This gives us a great excuse to go buy a new dress!!

Happy Winoween

The kids had big fun with Halloween. Emma was a bumble bee, Elli was Jasmine, and Meg was a rag doll. Meg said, "Happy Winoween" when we knocked on people's door to trick-or-treat. Now we have to get this candy out of my house before I gain 15 pounds!

Mr. Glenn Comes to Visit!

We finally got Mr. Glenn to come back to Alabama to see us!! We were all so excited to have him here for a few days. We kept him very busy during his stay -- from Disney on Ice, to volleyball games, to church, to hanging out with the family... The kids absolutely adored playing with him. They barely gave him a moment of peace. He even kept Meg one day while I went to volleyball practice. (Brave man, right?) We had such a special time together. It is so hard since he lives in California to see each other very often...we have to make the most of it when we are together. And I think we did. I hope he knows how much we enjoyed it. We love you, Mr. Glenn! Thank you so much for coming. Please come back soon!
