Elli and the Library

So, Elli's class gets to check books out of the school library now. When I picked her up from school, she had a new book -- The Cat in the Hat. You may not think this is worthy of a post. Let me explain. We have this book at home. Not just one copy, either, but two. So I said, "Elli, why didn't you get a different book that we don't have at home." To which she replied, "Mom, that's the only book in the whole library that I can read by myself." So, why wouldn't a girl want to pick out the book that she can read? You got to give her credit for her logic.
